Position Overview

• The Fruit Farm Worker will be responsible for planting, irrigating and harvesting crops.

• Plant, fertilize, cultivate, and irrigate apple, pear and plum plants

Examine fruit for quality

Working from ladder to extract fruit

Detect and report problems with crops

Other duties as required

Qualifications:

Experience with fruit an asset

Driver’s license is an asset

Ability to drive tractors is an asset

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working on feet and/or ladder for several hours per day in a variety of weather conditions
• Multi tasking abilities

Wage $15.50/hr

Locations: Orchards located in Waterloo and Niagara regions
